How do I exit a stuck golf course or scorecard screen on a Garmin watch?

End or discard the active golf round from the Golf screen, then restart the watch; syncing with the Garmin Golf app can clear a stuck scorecard state afterward.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Discarding a round can delete an unsaved scorecard.
Follow these steps
Open the Golf round controls
On the Golf screen, use the watch buttons to look for Resume round, Save, End round, or Discard and choose End or Discard if you need to leave the stuck course.
You should see: The round closes and the normal watch face returns, or the menu is unresponsive.
Restart the watch
Power the watch off using the model’s button combination, wait about 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
You should see: The watch reboots off the stuck scorecard screen.
Sync with the Garmin Golf app
Open the Garmin Golf app on your phone, go to Profile > Devices, and tap the sync control for the watch.
You should see: Any saved round data syncs and the watch stays on the normal face.
Force restart if buttons seem locked
If the screen stays on and normal power-off fails, hold the model’s forced-restart button combination until the watch reboots, then avoid starting a new round until it is stable.
You should see: The watch restarts and accepts normal button input again.
