Why are Ray-Ban Meta glasses blinking white continuously?
Answer
A short white blink can be normal at startup or when “Hey Meta” is heard, but continuous blinking usually means charge the case, restart the glasses, and reopen the Meta AI / View app pairing.
Follow these steps
Charge in the case
Place the glasses in the charging case, close the lid, and charge for at least 15–30 minutes until the case indicates charging progress.
You should see: The glasses take a charge and the continuous white blink stops or slows after you put them on again.
Restart the glasses
Follow Meta’s official restart method for Ray-Ban Meta glasses (from the app or the hardware button combination in Meta’s help for your model), then wait for startup to finish.
You should see: The LED returns to a normal idle pattern instead of continuous white blinking.
Reopen the Meta app and reconnect
Open the Meta AI / View app, confirm Bluetooth permission is allowed, and check that the glasses show as connected.
You should see: The app lists the glasses as connected and controls respond.
Test the LED after “Hey Meta”
Say “Hey Meta” once, watch for a short white indicator, then stay quiet and confirm the light stops instead of blinking continuously.
You should see: The white light is brief during wake word detection and does not continue indefinitely.

Extra tips
What to look for: Whether the white LED blinks only briefly after “Hey Meta” or keeps blinking with no voice prompt, and whether the Meta app shows the glasses as connected.
Before you change anything: Charge the glasses in the official case for at least 15–30 minutes. Keep the paired phone nearby with Bluetooth on. Use the official Meta AI / View app for your platform. Avoid third-party “fix LED” apps or paid unlock sites.
