How do I fix a Kardia app History download that says Something is wrong?

Answer

Restart the iPhone, update the Kardia app, sign back in, then try downloading one History reading again. If the reading is still visible but will not export, sign out and back into the same account before retrying.

Follow these steps

  1. Restart the iPhone

Close Kardia, restart the iPhone, then reopen the phone and wait until it is fully online again.

You should see: The iPhone finishes restarting and apps, including Kardia, can open normally.

  2. Update the Kardia app

Open the App Store, check for an update to Kardia, and install it if one is available.

You should see: Kardia is on the latest available App Store version.

  3. Sign in and reopen History

Open Kardia, sign back in if prompted, go to History, and confirm the needed reading still appears in the list.

You should see: The past reading is visible in History even if it has not downloaded yet.

  4. Try Download again

Open that one reading in History and tap Download again to export or share it.

You should see: The reading exports or opens a share sheet instead of showing Something is wrong.

  5. Refresh the account session

If Download still fails, sign out of Kardia, sign back into the same account, reopen History, and try Download once more.

You should see: The account session refreshes and the History download completes.

Extra tips

What to look for: The exact History error Something is wrong when Download is tapped, and whether older readings still appear in the list.

Before you change anything: Confirm which reading date you need before changing account settings. Note whether readings are still visible even if Download fails. Use the official Kardia app from the App Store. Never share account passwords or one-time codes with unexpected callers. This is app troubleshooting only and is not medical advice.
