How do I see what unexpected Amazon charges were for?
Answer
Sign in to Amazon on the official site or app, open Your Orders for those dates, then check Memberships & Subscriptions and Prime Video Channels for active or recently canceled billed items.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Canceling a subscription stops future billing but may not reverse charges already posted.
- Stop if a popup or caller asks you to pay a fee to remove Amazon charges or install remote-access software.
Follow these steps
Review Your Orders for those dates
Sign in at Amazon’s official site or app, open Your Orders, and filter or scroll to February and March. Open each order to see the item name, digital content, or seller.
You should see: You can match most charges to a specific order, title, or digital purchase.
Check Memberships & Subscriptions
Go to Account, then Memberships & Subscriptions. Note every active or recently canceled membership, Subscribe & Save item, or recurring service that billed in that period.
You should see: You see which subscriptions were active when the charges posted.
Review Prime Video Channels
Open Prime Video, then Channels or the membership area that lists add-on channels. Write down every active or recently canceled channel and its billing status.
You should see: You can tell whether a channel or add-on explains recurring charges you do not remember ordering.
Compare totals to your statement
Match each Amazon order or subscription amount to the bank or card statement lines. If a charge has no matching Amazon activity, check for a different Amazon account on the same card or contact Amazon support from the official Help pages.
You should see: Each statement line is explained, or you know which charge still needs Amazon or bank follow-up.

Extra tips
What to look for: Order history entries for February and March, plus Memberships & Subscriptions or Prime Video Channels showing active or recently canceled billed services.
Before you change anything: Use only Amazon’s official website or app. Have the email address for the Amazon account that matches the charged card. Do not cancel everything at once until you identify each charge. Never share your Amazon password or one-time codes with unexpected callers.
