How do I make an international call from an iPhone?

Dial in full international format: +, country code, then the full number without a leading 0. On iPhone, hold 0 to enter +, then dial. If the call still will not connect, turn on international calling with your carrier or use Wi-Fi calling if your plan supports it.

Follow these steps
Dial with + and the country code
Open Phone, tap Keypad, then touch and hold 0 until + appears. Enter the country code, then the full number without any leading 0 used for domestic dialing in that country. Tap Call.
You should see: The call rings through, or you hear a clear carrier message about international service.
Confirm cellular or Wi-Fi calling is available
Check the status bar for cellular signal. If you have little coverage, go to Settings > Cellular and enable Wi-Fi Calling if your carrier offers it, then retry the same + format number.
You should see: The iPhone shows a usable line for voice (cellular or Wi-Fi Calling).
Enable international calling on the account
If the carrier says international dialing is blocked, sign in to your carrier’s official app or account website and enable international calling or an international day pass. Use only the carrier’s published tools—not links from texts.

Retry the call after the feature is on
Wait a few minutes if the carrier says provisioning can lag, then dial the same +country code number again. Restart the iPhone if the first retry still fails immediately after enabling the feature.

Use an alternate official method if needed
If voice still will not complete, use your carrier’s official Wi-Fi calling, an included international app/feature they provide, or a messaging app call over data only if both sides agree—still avoid unofficial paid "unlock calling" offers.
