How do I pay a T-Mobile bill when I cannot sign in online?

Answer

You can usually pay without full account recovery by using T-Mobile’s official guest/pay-as-guest options with the phone number and account PIN, or by paying in a T-Mobile store. Fix sign-in separately afterward with the account holder’s credentials.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Ignore texts or calls that pressure you to pay through a gift card, crypto, or an unfamiliar website. Use T-Mobile’s official channels only.
  • Only the account owner or an authorized user may change login email, PIN, or lines; stores may require matching ID.

Follow these steps

  1. Pay as a guest on the official site

On a browser, open T-Mobile’s official Make a Payment / Pay bill page (from t-mobile.com). Choose pay without signing in if offered, enter the mobile number, and follow prompts for the account PIN or other verification T-Mobile shows.

You should see: You reach a payment screen and can submit the bill amount with a card or accepted method.

  2. Try the official app’s bill pay path

If the app opens but full home access fails, look for a Pay Bill or Guest options on the sign-in screen. Use the same number and PIN. Avoid reinstalling repeatedly until after one successful payment attempt.

You should see: Payment completes, or you get a specific error (wrong PIN, number not found) you can correct.

  3. Pay by phone or in store if login stays blocked

Call T-Mobile’s published billing number from another phone, or visit an official T-Mobile store with a photo ID and the account phone number. Ask to apply a payment to that line.

You should see: The agent or store confirms the payment posted to the correct account.

  4. Recover sign-in after the bill is paid

Once payment is done, use Forgot password on the official T-Mobile sign-in page with the account holder’s email or number. Update the password, then sign in to the app and confirm Autopay if you want it.

You should see: You can open the account normally and see the updated balance.

Extra tips

What to look for: App or website login errors, stuck account-setup screens, or “unable to verify” messages when opening T-Mobile’s official app or site.

Before you change anything: Have the phone number on the account and the account PIN if you know it. Use only T-Mobile’s official website, app, or store—not links from unexpected texts. Do not share the account PIN or one-time codes with callers who contact you first. Prefer the account holder’s own login for password resets.
