Follow these steps
Open Apple ID settings on the iPhone
Go to Settings and tap the name at the top to see the Apple ID currently signed in.
You should see: You see the incorrect Apple ID details.
Sign out and keep a local copy
Tap Sign Out, enter the password for that Apple ID if asked, and choose Keep a Copy for contacts and other data so they remain on the phone.
You should see: The phone signs out without erasing local copies you chose to keep.
Remove misplaced rescue emails if needed
If an owner email was added under Sign-In & Security on the wrong account, remove it from that account using official Apple ID settings on a trusted device.
You should see: The owner's email is no longer tied as a rescue contact on the wrong Apple ID.
Sign in with the correct Apple ID
In Settings, sign in with the owner's Apple ID and allow iCloud to restore contacts, photos, and Find My as desired.
You should see: The iPhone is under the correct Apple ID with data preserved where possible.
