How do I take a Panasonic home phone off hold?

Press the handset Off or End key, then the line or talk key to clear hold. If it stays stuck, power-cycle the Panasonic base for 60 seconds and wait for the handsets to reconnect.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Unplug only the phone base power supply; do not open the base electronics.
Follow these steps
End hold from the handset
Press Off, End, or the flashing hold key on the handset that placed the call on hold, then press Talk or Line and listen for the caller or dial tone.
You should see: Hold clears and the call resumes or dial tone returns.
Hang up all handsets
Place every handset back in its cradle or press Off on each one so no extension keeps the line open.
You should see: Line lights go out or return to idle.
Power-cycle the base
Unplug the main Panasonic base from power for 60 seconds, plug it back in, wait about two minutes for handsets to reconnect, then test for dial tone.
You should see: Handsets relink and hold is cleared.
