What should I do if an Abbott FreeStyle Libre sensor will not apply?

Follow these steps
Stop and inspect without forcing
Remove the applicator from the arm if it is still pressed there. Do not pry the sensor out with knives or scissors. Check whether the sensor is still seated inside and whether the applicator looks partially fired.

Retry only if the insert allows a fresh start
If the sensor and applicator are unused and the insert describes a specific re-arm or restart condition, follow those exact steps once. Otherwise do not repeatedly mash the button.

Use a replacement sensor
