What should I do if an Amazon order was refunded but never delivered?

Answer

Open the order in Your Orders, confirm whether the refund completed, and contact Amazon support from the order page if the item is still missing or the refund amount looks wrong. Do not reshare full card numbers in chat.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Off-platform refund helpers asking for remote access are often scams.

Follow these steps

  1. Review the order status

Sign in to Amazon, open Your Orders, and select the selfie tripod order to see delivered, canceled, or refunded status.

You should see: You know whether Amazon considers the order refunded or still open.

  2. Confirm the refund amount

Compare the order’s refund details with your card or bank statement amount and date.

You should see: The refund matches, is pending, or is missing.

  3. Contact Amazon from the order

Use Problem with order / Contact us on that order to request confirmation of refund completion or a replacement if still eligible.

You should see: Amazon provides a case decision.

  4. Watch the case and statement

Save the case ID and recheck the statement in a few business days if the refund is pending.

You should see: Funds return or Amazon asks for one more delivery check.

Extra tips

What to look for: Order status such as refund issued, shipment tracking that never arrived, and the exact refund amount in Your Orders or your card statement.

Before you change anything: Have the order ID ready. Use Amazon’s official app or website only. Check porch cameras or household members for a misdelivered package. Never post full credit card numbers in messages.
