How do I restore the torch icon on an Oppo Reno13 5G?

Answer

Restart the phone, then add the flashlight tile again from Quick Settings edit mode or from the Control Center shortcuts on ColorOS.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Do not install unknown flashlight apps from outside the official app store just to replace the system torch icon.

Follow these steps

  1. Restart the phone

Power the Oppo Reno13 5G fully off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

You should see: The phone restarts and Quick Settings reloads.

  2. Open Quick Settings edit mode

Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings, swipe down again if needed to expand the full panel, then tap the edit or pencil icon.

You should see: You see the list of active tiles and available tiles, including Flashlight or Torch.

  3. Add the Flashlight tile

Find Flashlight or Torch in the available tiles and drag or tap it back into the active Quick Settings area, then save or tap Done.

You should see: The torch icon appears again in Quick Settings.

  4. Check Control Center or lock-screen shortcuts

If the icon is still missing, open Settings, search for Quick Settings, Control Center, or Lock screen shortcuts, and make sure Flashlight is enabled there as well.

You should see: Flashlight is available from Quick Settings or the lock screen again.

Extra tips

What to look for: Whether Flashlight or Torch is missing from the Quick Settings panel after you swipe down, and whether it still appears in the tile edit list

Before you change anything: Confirm the flashlight still works from Settings search even if the icon is gone. Avoid factory resets just to restore a shortcut. Note your ColorOS version if menus look different. Never share account passwords with unexpected callers.
