How do I cancel Guardio and stop unexpected debit card charges?

Answer

Cancel Guardio from the official account dashboard or the store used to subscribe, then check whether the debit amount is a temporary authorization hold or a completed charge and request a refund if needed.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Do not share full debit card numbers or banking one-time codes with anyone who calls about the Guardio charge.

Follow these steps

  1. Find the Guardio login email

Search your inbox for Guardio welcome or billing messages and note every email address that received one.

You should see: You know which account is tied to the charge.

  2. Cancel on the official Guardio dashboard

Sign into Guardio’s official site or app, open subscription or billing settings, cancel the trial or plan, and remove the saved payment method if offered.

You should see: The subscription shows as canceled.

  3. Also cancel store subscriptions if billed there

If you subscribed through Google Play or another store, open that store’s subscriptions list and cancel Guardio there too.

You should see: Store billing stops renewing.

  4. Dispute or request a refund if money remains taken

Contact Guardio support through the official help channel about holds versus completed charges, and if needed ask your bank to dispute the debit with your screenshots and cancellation confirmation.

You should see: The hold drops, a refund is issued, or a bank dispute is opened.

Extra tips

What to look for: Guardio trial or subscription charges on a debit card after a confused signup

Before you change anything: Search email for Guardio receipts to find the login address. Cancel inside official Guardio or app-store subscription settings only. Save screenshots of the charge amount and date. Never give full card numbers to unexpected callers.
