How do I find a lost Android phone on T-Mobile with Google Find My Device?
Answer
Sign into Google Find My Device with the same Google account used on the missing Android phone to see its last location, make it ring, lock it, or erase it if needed.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Erase device permanently removes local data and can stop further location updates after the wipe completes.
- Do not share your Google password with someone who claims they found the phone and needs remote access.
Follow these steps
Open Google Find My Device
On a computer or another phone, go to Google’s official Find My Device page and sign in with the same Google account used on the missing phone.
You should see: The missing device appears in the device list, or Google shows it is unavailable.
Play a sound or view the map location
Select the phone and use Play sound if you think it is nearby, or review the map for the last reported location.
You should see: You hear the phone ring or see a usable last-known location.
Secure the device if it may be stolen
Choose Secure device or Lock to require a screen lock and show a contact message, especially if the phone is not nearby.
You should see: The phone is locked against casual access.
Contact T-Mobile and erase only if necessary
Ask T-Mobile to suspend service if theft is likely. Use Erase device only when you accept that the phone’s local data will be wiped.
You should see: The line is protected and, if chosen, the device wipe begins.

Extra tips
What to look for: The missing phone listed in Find My Device with a map location or last seen time
Before you change anything: Confirm which Google account was signed into the missing phone. Use a trusted computer or another phone you control. Decide whether you want to erase the device if it cannot be recovered. Never share account passwords with unexpected callers claiming they found the phone.
