How do I send a book from the Kindle app on Android to a Kindle Paperwhite?

Sign both the Android Kindle app and the Kindle Paperwhite into the same Amazon account, then sync the Paperwhite. Books bought from Amazon are delivered to that account’s library; they are not copied like a file from phone storage.
Follow these steps
Confirm the same Amazon account on both devices
In the Android Kindle app, open the profile or settings and note the Amazon account email. On the Paperwhite, open Settings and confirm it is registered to that same account. If the accounts differ, deregister the Paperwhite and register it with the purchasing account.
You should see: Both devices show the same Amazon account.
Connect the Paperwhite to Wi-Fi
On the Paperwhite, join a working Wi-Fi network so it can download library updates from Amazon.
You should see: The Paperwhite shows a Wi-Fi connection.
Sync the Paperwhite library
On the Paperwhite, open the home screen or library menu and choose Sync or Sync Device. Wait until the sync finishes.
You should see: The purchased book appears in the Paperwhite library or under cloud content ready to download.
Download the book on the Paperwhite
If the book shows a cloud icon, tap it to download. Then open the book to confirm it reads normally.
You should see: The book is stored on the Paperwhite and opens for reading.
Recheck device delivery if the book is still missing
On Amazon’s Manage Your Content and Devices page in a browser, confirm the book is delivered to the Paperwhite. If needed, choose Deliver to device for that title, then sync the Paperwhite again.
You should see: The book is assigned to the Paperwhite and appears after the next sync.
