How do I transfer data from one Motorola Moto G to another?

Follow these steps
Back up the old Moto G
On the old phone, open Settings > Google (or System > Backup) and confirm backup is on for the Google account you will use. Wait until backup finishes for photos, contacts, and app data where offered.

Reset the new phone if setup already finished
