Follow these steps
Change the Microsoft account password
Sign in at the official Microsoft account site, change the password, and sign out other sessions where the option is available.
You should see: Other people can no longer sign in with the old password.
Cancel Xbox subscriptions
Open Services & subscriptions and cancel Game Pass, Xbox Cloud Gaming, or other recurring Xbox services you do not want renewed.
You should see: Subscriptions show canceled or set to end without renewal.
Remove saved payment methods
Under Payment options, remove credit cards you do not want available for purchases.
You should see: Saved cards are removed from the account.
Review recent charges
In Microsoft billing, check recent charges and use Investigate or dispute options for anything you do not recognize.
