Follow these steps
Try Find My erase if the iPhone appears online
From another device or iCloud.com, sign into the Apple Account used on the locked iPhone, select it in Find My, and choose Erase This Device if available.
You should see: The iPhone erases remotely, or Find My cannot reach it.
Erase with a computer when a cable is available
Connect the iPhone to a Mac or PC, place it in recovery mode using Apple’s official button sequence for your model, then choose Restore in Finder or the Apple Devices/iTunes app.
You should see: The computer restores iOS and clears the Unavailable state.
Sign in with the same Apple Account after erase
When setup begins, sign in with the Apple Account that was on the iPhone. Activation Lock requires that account and cannot be skipped.
You should see: The iPhone activates and continues setup.
Restore from a backup if you have one
