Follow these steps
Confirm phone types
Note whether the old and new phones are Android, iPhone, or mixed. Mixed systems cannot copy all apps through Quick Start or Smart Switch.

Retry official device transfer once
On matching systems, start Quick Start (Apple) or Smart Switch / cable transfer (Samsung/Android) with both unlocked, plugged in, and near each other. Decline extra options that stall setup.
You should see: Transfer progresses, or the same failure returns quickly.
Fall back to cloud backup
On the old phone, back up to iCloud or Google one last time. On the new phone, erase or skip the failed transfer and restore from that cloud backup during setup.
You should see: Accounts, photos, and many apps restore from the cloud.
Move the Straight Talk line separately
Activate or transfer the Straight Talk number with the new phone’s IMEI in the Straight Talk / Verizon prepaid account tools after data restore.
You should see: Service works on the new phone independently of the app transfer.
