How do I fix a connectivity error on an adjustable bed base?

Answer

Most adjustable-base connectivity errors clear after a full power reset of the bed base before you reopen the app. Unplug the base, wait a couple of minutes, restore power, test the physical remote first, then reconnect the app.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Keep hands and bedding clear of moving base parts while testing.

Follow these steps

  1. Unplug the bed base completely

Unplug the bed’s power supply or base from the wall for a full 2 minutes. Do not skip the wait.

You should see: All lights on the control box go dark and the system fully powers down.

  2. Restore power and wait for startup

Plug everything back in and wait about 3 to 5 minutes for the base to finish starting up before testing.

You should see: The control box returns to its normal idle indicators.

  3. Test the remote before the app

Use the bed’s physical remote or wired control to raise and lower the head or foot slightly.

You should see: The base moves, showing the motor system is online even if the app still errs.

  4. Reconnect the app only after remote control works

Open the official bed app and follow its Bluetooth or Wi‑Fi reconnect/pairing steps. If pairing fails, restart the phone and retry once.

You should see: The connectivity error clears and app control matches the remote.

  5. Repeat a shorter power reset if needed

If the error returns, unplug for 60 seconds once more and retest remote then app. Contact the bed maker if remote control also fails.

You should see: Control is restored, or you have confirmed a hardware support case is needed.

Extra tips

What to look for: A connectivity or not-connected message in the bed app, and whether the wired/wireless remote still moves the base.

Before you change anything: Clear space so the base can move safely during tests. Keep people and pets off the bed during reset. Note your bed brand and whether you use a remote, app, or both.
