How do I fix Disney+ that will not load on a Hisense smart TV?
Answer
Power-cycle the Hisense TV, update Disney+ from the Google Play Store on the TV, then check for a TV system software update. A stuck loader is often fixed by a cold reboot plus app and firmware updates before you remove the account.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Clearing app data signs you out of Disney+ on that TV and removes local app data.
Follow these steps
Power-cycle the Hisense TV
Turn the TV off, unplug it from power for 30 to 60 seconds, plug it back in, wait for a full boot, then open Disney+ again.
You should see: The TV restarts cleanly and Disney+ either loads or fails in a clearer way.
Update Disney+ on the TV
Open the Google Play Store on the Hisense TV, find Disney+, and install any available update. If your Hisense uses a different app store, open that store’s Disney+ listing instead.
You should see: Disney+ shows as up to date on the TV.
Check Hisense system software
Open the TV Settings and look for System, Support, or About menus with System update / Software update. Install any available TV firmware update, then reboot if prompted.
You should see: The TV reports it is up to date, or finishes installing a new system update.
Clear Disney+ cache if it still will not open
Go to Settings > Apps (wording varies), open Disney+, and clear cache. Open Disney+ again before choosing clear data, which usually requires signing in again.
You should see: Disney+ launches to the home or sign-in screen instead of an endless load.
Reinstall Disney+ as a last app step
If it still will not load, uninstall Disney+ from the TV app list, reinstall from the official store, sign in on the TV, and test a title.
You should see: A fresh Disney+ install opens and starts streaming, or shows a specific account/error message.

Extra tips
What to look for: Disney+ stuck on loading, closing immediately, or showing an error on a Hisense smart TV, while other apps may still work.
Before you change anything: Confirm the Disney+ subscription works on a phone or computer if possible. Note any exact error text on the TV. Prefer updates and reboot before clearing all app data. Never share passwords or codes with unexpected callers.
