How do I find a lost Android phone with Find My Device?

On another device, open Google’s Find My Device (android.com/find) and sign in with the same Google account used on the missing phone. If it appears online, play a sound or view its last known location. Do not choose Erase unless you are sure you cannot recover the phone, because erase usually stops further tracking.

Follow these steps
Open Find My Device on another device
On a computer or another phone, go to android.com/find (or the Find My Device app) and sign in only with the Google account that was on the missing phone. Avoid links from unexpected texts or popups.
You should see: You see your devices list, or a map/location screen for the missing phone.
Check online status and last location
Select the missing phone. Note whether it is Online or Offline and review the last known location and time. If it is nearby and online, use Play sound to help locate it.
You should see: You know whether the phone can still be tracked and roughly where it was last seen.
Secure the account if the phone may be stolen
If you suspect theft, change the Google account password from a trusted device and review recent account activity. Leave Find My Device enabled so location updates can continue while the phone remains signed in.
You should see: The account is harder for someone else to use, and tracking remains available if the phone is still online.
Use Erase only as a last resort
Choose Erase only if you are sure the phone cannot be recovered and you accept that tracking usually stops after a successful erase. If the phone is offline, erase may wait until it reconnects.
