How do I finish Frame TV setup when stuck on Prime Video sign-in?
Answer
Setup often stalls on a streaming sign-in even when the TV itself is fine. Update the TV software first, then clear the Prime Video app cache or skip/sign in later if the setup wizard allows it.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Clearing Prime Video app data signs that app out on the TV; other apps are usually unaffected.
Follow these steps
See if setup can be skipped
Look for Skip, Later, or a back/exit control on the Prime Video sign-in screen. If available, skip streaming sign-in and finish the remaining TV setup steps first.
You should see: The TV leaves the Prime Video prompt and continues or reaches the home screen.
Install a TV software update
Open Settings, go to Support, then Software Update, and choose Update Now. Install any available update and let the TV restart if asked.
You should see: The TV reports it is up to date, or an update installs and the TV reboots.
Clear Prime Video app data
Open the Prime Video app settings on the TV (often via the apps list or app info) and clear cache, and clear data if that option appears. Then open Prime Video again and sign in with the Amazon account.
You should see: Prime Video shows a fresh sign-in screen and accepts the account, or shows a clear Amazon error.
Sign in after basic setup
If the guided setup still will not advance, complete network and account steps that are not tied to Prime Video, reach the home screen, then sign into Prime Video from the Apps section.
You should see: The Frame TV is usable, and Prime Video can be signed in outside the setup wizard.
Recheck Amazon account on another device
On a phone or computer, confirm the same Amazon account can sign into amazon.com or the Prime Video app. Fix any Amazon password or verification issue there before retrying on the TV.
You should see: Amazon sign-in works on another device, or Amazon shows the real account problem to fix first.

Extra tips
What to look for: Whether the screen is frozen on Amazon/Prime sign-in, any error text under the sign-in fields, and whether Settings → Support → Software Update is available.
Before you change anything: Confirm this is a Samsung The Frame TV, not another brand. Have the Amazon account email ready if Prime Video sign-in is required. Prefer skipping streaming sign-in during first setup if the TV offers that option. Never enter Amazon credentials on a page reached from an unexpected popup or text.
