Why doesn’t a Samsung phone show a mobile network option I expect?

Missing options on Samsung phones are often hidden by Airplane mode, a different Settings path, or a phone that still needs a restart after Wi-Fi connects. Check Connections → Mobile networks with Airplane mode off, then restart once Wi-Fi shows connected.
Follow these steps
Open Connections settings
Open Settings, then Connections. Look for Airplane mode, Wi-Fi, and Mobile networks on that screen.
You should see: You can see the main connectivity toggles Samsung groups under Connections.
Turn Airplane mode off
If Airplane mode is on, switch it off. Then open Mobile networks and confirm mobile data and related options are available.
You should see: Airplane mode is off and Mobile networks options are visible or clearly explained as unavailable.
Confirm Wi-Fi is connected
Return to Connections → Wi-Fi and connect to a known network if needed until the status shows Connected.

Restart the phone
