How do I fix the Arlo Secure app when the feed will not load?
Answer
Clear the Arlo Secure app cache, update Android System WebView and Google Play Services, restart the phone, then reopen Feed. If it still fails, check the camera’s own online status in the account on another device.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Clearing app data signs you out and removes local app settings.
- Only install Arlo Secure from Google Play or the App Store.
Follow these steps
Clear the Arlo Secure cache
Go to Settings, Apps, Arlo Secure, Storage, then Clear cache. Do not clear storage or data yet.
You should see: The app cache is removed and Arlo Secure can rebuild Feed content.
Update WebView and Play Services
In Google Play, update Android System WebView and Google Play Services, then restart the phone.
You should see: Both components are current and the phone has rebooted cleanly.
Reopen Feed in Arlo Secure
Open Arlo Secure again and tap Feed after the phone finishes restarting.
You should see: Events or live video begin to load.
Compare with another device or browser
If Feed still fails, check the same Arlo account on another phone or computer. If cameras are online there, reinstall Arlo Secure on the problem phone.
You should see: You learn whether the issue is app-specific or an account/camera outage.

Extra tips
What to look for: Endless loading on Feed, whether cameras show Online elsewhere, and the versions of Arlo Secure, WebView, and Play Services
Before you change anything: Confirm you are using the official Arlo Secure app from Google Play. Note whether the problem is only on this phone. Clearing cache does not usually remove recordings stored in the cloud. Avoid unofficial Arlo APKs.
