How do you fix Roku error 014 on multiple TVs?
Answer
Error 014 is usually a network or Roku service connectivity problem. Restart the home router, then reboot each Roku. If all three still fail together, check Roku’s system status and your internet connection.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Factory resetting all three Rokus at once can create unnecessary account re-setup if the issue is the network.
- Only download Roku updates from the device’s official update menu.
Follow these steps
Check other internet devices
On a phone or laptop, confirm Wi-Fi or Ethernet still loads websites. This shows whether the outage is whole-home or Roku-specific.
You should see: You know if the ISP connection is up.
Restart the router and modem
Unplug the modem and router for 60 seconds, plug the modem back first, then the router. Wait until Wi-Fi is online.
You should see: Home internet reconnects for other devices.
Restart each Roku
On each TV, restart the Roku from Settings > System > Power, or unplug the Roku/TV power for 30 seconds. Recheck whether error 014 clears.
You should see: Channels load again, or 014 remains on all units.
Update network settings if needed
On a still-failing Roku, reopen Network settings, reconnect to Wi-Fi, and run a network check. If every Roku still shows 014 while other devices work, check Roku system status and try again later.
You should see: Roku passes its network check or you confirm a wider Roku service issue.

Extra tips
What to look for: Roku screens show error 014 on more than one TV starting around the same time.
Before you change anything: Note whether phones and computers still have internet. Avoid factory-resetting every Roku first. Keep Roku account credentials available if sign-in is required after reboot.
